Survive Me ("the app") is built to keep things simple: it doesn't collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal data.

This page explains exactly what the app accesses on your device and why.

LOCATION:

Survive Me requests access to your device's location ("When In Use") to measure your real riding speed. That speed is used entirely on your device to drive the speedometer display and to control the pitch and volume of the sound playback. Your location is never recorded, stored, transmitted, or shared with anyone, including us.

MICROPHONE:

Survive Me requests access to your microphone for two features you control directly: recording your own short sound clips for the Recordings library, and the push-to-talk Megaphone feature. Anything you record is saved only on your device's local storage. Nothing recorded through the app is uploaded, transmitted, or shared anywhere.

Uploaded Audio Files:

If you use the Upload feature to import an audio file from your device into the app, that file is copied and stored locally on your device only. It is not uploaded to any server.

In-App Purchases:

Survive Me offers an optional one-time in-app purchase to unlock recording and uploading beyond the free trial.

Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store's standard purchase system. We do not receive or store your payment information—Apple handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy.

What We Don't Do:

We don't use any analytics, advertising, or tracking software in the app. We don't create user accounts or ask you to sign in. We don't transmit any data from your device to us or to any third party. We don't share, sell, or rent any information, because we don't collect any.

Children's Privacy:

Survive Me does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because the app does not collect information at all. The app is not directed specifically at children.

Changes to This Policy:

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
